The software can process a typical digital photo of 2500 x 2000 pixels. Non-typical cases could exhaust the memory available to the Java Plug-in. Why do some photos produce great paintings and some do not? It's not always possible to predict which photo will produce an appealing result. Sometimes trial and error is required.
