Text When the insert button is pressed, text will be drawn at the Anchor Point on the canvas. The anchor point coordinate (x,y) can be typed in manually, or inserted using the canvas coordinate finder. In the latter case, right click the mouse while over the canvas. As the mouse moves, its coordinates over the canvas are shown. Right click again and the coordinate finder will stop at the click point. In the text dialog, click the X,Y coordinate button. These x and y values will insert into the anchor point text fields. |

Special Text There are six special text styles available. Samples of each are shown below. To use a special text, select it from the list. Now return to the first text dialog. Select the text anchor point and font, then click insert as usual. The special text style will be used. After the insert, special text becomes inactive (switches back to none). To use it again, select another special text from the list.

After creating a layout curve, click the square Text Layout button. The text layout is now activated. Return to the first text dialog and insert the text as usual. The new text layout is used. Text layout will then deactivate. Getting a good, curved text layout can be tricky. Some trial and error is required.
